Filò Magazine

If your ancestors came from Trentino-Alto Adige, you really should check out the magazine  Filò: A Journal for Tyrolean Americans. Each issue showcases a different part of the region, and is a wealth of historical, cultural and linguistic information. There are many interesting family stories written by readers, and I also write a regular column called ‘Genealogy Corner‘ and sometimes have additional features. Check out a few of the latest issues below, or go to to see the complete back catalogue. You can request to receive the printed version of the magazine (for free in the US) by registering at Register for Magazine – Filo Tiroles
